UltraPlane is pleased to announce its registration with Scania’s Monitoring Report package. This sees Scania produce weekly, monthly and yearly reports for all UltraPlane Scania vehicles, with a view to reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions through identification of performance indicators and trends.
The initiative comes after UltraPlane’s recent attendance of the Breakfast Fuel Clinic as hosted by Scania, which delivers expert advice in relation to diagnostics, telematics, driver behaviour and new technologies. A discussion took place afterwards between Transport Manager Paul May and a Scania representative, and the wheels were set swiftly into motion.
This arrangement further underlines our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint through as many means as possible, including an efficient telematics and reporting system that supplies us with all the information needed to create the most efficient and eco-friendly operation possible.
